Meeting Information

The Green Party of Yolo County holds General Membership Meetings on the first Thursday of every month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Locations may vary but meetings are usually held in the smaller meeting room at the Yolo County Library in Davis. Check the homepage for the time and location of the next meeting.

We are a grassroots organization lead by our Active Membership and managed by a consensus process. All Green Party members and outside observers are encouraged to attend. Everyone who attends our meetings has an equal voice in the decision-making process. These meetings are meant to be as inclusive and democratic as possible.

As the main deliberative body of the Green Party of Yolo County, the General Meeting shall:

• Define goals, policy, and priorities of the GPYC.
• Make endorsements of candidates and ballot measures.
• Make official statements for the GPYC.
• Form Working Groups to make recommendations and proposals to the general committee.
• Elect delegates to the GPCA General Assembly.
• Discuss and deliberate on fundamental issues of policy, strategy, or structure of the GPYC.
