San Francisco, CA. 8/9/18 - The Green Party of California released a statement today endorsing the Rise for Climate, Jobs and Justice mobilization, and joining its September 8, 2018 march in San Francisco.
Oakland, CA. 7/10/18 - The Green Party of California announced today that due to a successful write-in campaign it now has three November election candidates to contest U.S. House seats currently held by Democrats.
Sacramento, CA. 7/5/18 - Green Party member and homeless advocate James Lee Clark aka "Faygo" is scheduled to appear in court today for his suit filed against the City of Sacramento to defend the first amendment rights of the homeless.
Los Angeles, CA. 6/13/18 – The Green Party of California announced today that at least two of its candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives have advanced to the November election and will launch a strong challenge to win seats currently held by the Democratic Party.
STOCKTON, CA. 6/8/18 – The Green Party of California – whose national party remains the only major party with nationwide ballot access that accepts no corporate donations – announced that it will hold its first state meeting of 2018 over the weekend of June 9-10, in the city of Stockton in San Joaquin County.
The weekend meeting takes place at the Wentworth Education Center, Burwood Room, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton, CA.
San Francisco, CA - April 25, 2018 – The Green Party of California (GPCA) announced today that for the first time in its three decade history, it has voted to endorse candidates from other parties in statewide elections. GPCA delegates voted by a two-thirds supermajority to allow the Greens to endorse any candidates who do not accept corporate campaign contributions, and who do not belong to a political party that accepts corporate contributions.
