The California (CA) Green Officeholders Network was founded in February 2007 at the GPCA's Green California Strategic Retreat in Glen Ellen, Sonoma County. Its purpose is to facilitate present and past California Green officeholders to share policy perspectives and governing experience with each other, and the rest of the GPCA.
The CA Green Officeholders Network also provides input to the GPCA platform and media process, helps plan officeholder retreats, participate in panels and more.
On Twitter, the GPCA retweets Green officeholder-related tweets @ www.twitter.com/GPCA.
Since the GPCA's founding in 1990, over 350 California Greens have been elected to public office. The CA Green Officeholders Network was founded to synergize their work. California Green officeholders are also members of the GPUS Green Officeholders Network.
